FAQ

What is an ambulance service membership?   It is a membership with an ambulance service that gives you, the member, a discount on your bill, usually around 50% as is ours.

 

Who is included in a family membership?   At SEEMS your family is just that. Typically it is anyone that lives at the same address, but could be a child that is  full time student living away from home.

 

Do I need a membership?   You should ask your insurance what they pay for an ambulance. Some pay the full amount. Most do not. Most Blue Cross insurances will pay $1000.00 per year and some only $300.00 per year. For these a membership is a good idea.

If you have Medicare and a supplemental insurance you probably do not need a membership, as the two will pay the full amount allowed by Medicare. If you just have Medicare only then a membership is a good idea.

 

If you have Medicaid then you do not need a membership.
